NNAMDI KANU NEEDS A POLITICAL ADVISER, NOW!

consult widely, and talk less

Somebody, somewhere is watching Nnamdi Kanu and the Igbo burn their political capital.
And they are studiously taking notes.
And laughing?
Hopefully, No.

At the APGA THINK-TANK, NIGERIA, it is our opinion that we cannot fall MUGU to this Nnamdi Kanu set-up
They let him out of jail for a reason
like the Igbo man he is, Nnamdi Kanu should pause and think,
not ride on the public sentiment
This is the realpolitik
The rubber has finally met the road.
Nnamdi Kanu cannot afford to waste a raging and valuable political ethos
It is time to consult and align, not disparage

Somehow, since Dr. Alex Ekwueme last roused same sentiment for the Igbo at Jos in 1999,
Nobody has brought the Igbo to this level of political excitement and agreement.
Only The APGA through the thick and thin with its Candidates, the INEC and the Federal Government have been trying to fashion a stance
Maintain the semblance of a political presence and opinion.
Nobody can trivialize that.
Nobody.
It was a hard won, bare-boned, bloody fight
Still is.
The APGA Party and its current echelon must be congratulated for keeping that stance for the Igbo.
The fear of a peerless Igbo voice still rankles the powers that be
That 26 months after the Anambra Central Senatorial Election,
The Seat is yet to be handed to its due winner
From APGA.

Insulting Kin who have been, and are still at the political fore,
Or, would like to the contribute meaningfully to the contemporary discourse
is not an endearing trait.
People who have walked that terrain have long memories,
and do not forget their travails while others slept, or waved aside their conscientious efforts.
They will unsheath that sword when you least know

Dr. Alex Ekwueme's tale after the Jos convention, should be a primer for any cogent political effort.
Take it from those who have been at the forefront.
Nnamdi Kanu cannot afford enemies, political enemies within his domain.
Somebody must call him to order,
and re-direct how this hard won political capital may be used to his constituency's benefit
Chief Nnia Nwodo understood, and dutifully began chaperone duties
Tact, may be a word Nnamdi Kanu needs to add to his dictionary.

The Nigerian Government is no longer at logger heads with Nnamdi Kanu,
Maybe Nnamdi Kanu has not realized it
The way it is, Nnamdi Kanu will show them the hand they have to play
Somebody is truly being patient
Don't forget they told us 'they' don't talk too much
The cold-blooded.

For the last six weeks they have let Mr. Kanu traverse the Eastern Landsacpe
while the FG heaved a sigh of relief, and engaged other issues of National administration.
Lately, whether he knows it or not,
Nnamdi Kanu is no longer pointing any fingers at the Nigerian Federal Government.
That is a welcome relief for the Nigerian Government
They do not have to explain themselves to anybody anymore
They are allowing democracy to thrive.
Nnamdi Kanu is a prime example of their democratic act
Viva APC!
The Onus is heavily on Kanu.

Nnamdi Kanu unfortunately began to point the finger at himself.
Knowingly or unknowingly, he started a debate in his domain which those who released him are keenly watching.
He proposed to a group that there will be no elections in Anambra State
A direct assault on the political establishment of Anambra State
Not Nigeria
His verbiage immediately got mixed reception.
stirring up a hornet's nest in the Anambra domain,
Then his media secretary poured more fuel into the fire.
Accusing the ALL PROGRESSIVES GRAND ALLIANCE (APGA) administration of killing over 200 IPOB members.
A very frivolous charge,
with no basis in fact
At the APGA THINK-TANK, NIGERIA, we question their focus.

Emma Powerful, a false name parading in the mainstream - how strange?
Forgot that Nnamdi Kanu was once the Factional Chairman of APGA UK
And should have directly asked Peter Obi, not APGA, of that development
The APGA, 'Emma Powerful' forgot, suffered immensely under the Peter Obi Governorship
It was what the faithful APGA had to endure to keep their issues in the National prominence
Apparently, the APGA is still here to some people's chagrin.

And we wondered where the IPOB 'convenient' were
when the APGA led Anambra State Government and Governor, Chief Dr. Willie M. Obiano laid the Biafra dead to rest in January 2015,
Under heavy security threat from the Federal Government
Igbos from all walks pervaded the Ekwueme square
to pay a solemn homage as directed by Eze Gburugburu Himself,
that we must lay our war dead to rest.
A ceremony which had been neglected 45 years after the civil war,
and had been labeled as responsible for our continued morass.
Clearly, the 'Powerful' were conveniently absent
While the faithful the faithful settled scores with the restive spirits.

Chief Willie Obiano shouted "Ozo emena!" to the overflowing crowd which thronged the venue
They in unison shouted back "Ozo e mena!",
A shout which pleased the brave spirits,
as they finally rested
where they had fallen.
May their souls rest in Perfect Peace.

The Governor in the face of the massive threat
Built a massive 'Unknown Biafran soldier' statue
representing the gallantry of the Biafran in the Nigerian war
Same edifice still stands today at the Ekwueme square,
A tribute to the fallen Heroes.

An event attended by the Igbo cognoscenti
including Chief Alex Ekwueme himself
Captain Ben Gbulie, Colonel Achuzia, Captain Ihenacho
Chief Josephine Anenih, Chief Victor Umeh, Professor Chukwuemeka Ike,
Arthur Eze,
the OMATA, AMATA, EMATA
Abakiliki, Umuahia, Owerri, Aba, Enugu, Nnewi, Awka and the rest of the Eastern heartland
It was standing room only.

Where was the 'Powerful' when Ben Gbulie gave the Oration?.
If the IPOB must know, ROME was not built in a day
They are riding APGA's coattails
And are truly spending APGA's political capital
A little appreciation, gratefulness and sensitivity does go a long way in politics.
A word for the wise.

Their IPOB release made it seem that Nnamdi Kanu was without tether.
At the APGA THINK-TANK, NIGERIA, we would remind that the freed IPOB leader was at the behest of the PDP senate caucus
who presently hold a lien on Nnamdi Kanu's head.
They signed the bond for his bail
And are looking to collect in due political season,
Soon.
Osita Chidoka, the UPP, were also calculating.
They made a public spectacle of driving Nnamdi Kanu out of jail,
Yes, The Visuals don't lie.

OSITA CHIDOKA, THE UPP GOVERNORSHIP CANDIDATE, FORMER AVIATION MINISTER, DROVE NNAMDI KANU OUT OF JAIL.
Somebody was already calculating political capital
The dust had not even settled when Osita Chidoka began to collect
He  ranted against the Anambra Airport project the other day
Then prominently featured at the UPP convention the next week,
And a photo op with Nnamdi Kanu is somewhere in the offing
The dreams of the Government House have already been sequenced.
Does Emma Powerful know about all these?
Oh, wait! Until he tries to pass security.

One would think that a native, and one who prided himself in reading
would understand the practical ramifications for an Anambra Airport.
It was always that dichotomy between the Igbo intelligentsia and the Igbo trader,
they are still to meet.
What did you expect from a PDP henchman's protege?

How naive could Emma Powerful be,
Chekwas Okorie, the UPP National Chairman had already began plotting how another famed Igbo leader may be used to spread his political gospel.
He had aligned his party to the fortunes of the IPOB
He exactly knew what he was doing, and how that political capital may help his political ambition later.
Nnamdi Kanu's commentary cannot be that altruistic
Somebody, somewhere is using him
With, or without his knowledge
That was why Chief Nnia Nwodo had to step up
to calm restive nerves in Eastern politics.

Not to be outdone,
Father Mbaka made known his Pro-Biafran stance the other day,
He publicly worried that the same old politicians who put us in our current state
had already corralled Nnamdi Kanu.
A food for thought for the IPOB class.
While they were at it,
The Governor of Ebonyi State
gave good reasons why Ebonyi State may not be included in the Biafran territory.
Then, Igbos living in Northern Nigeria simply asked to be left out of the agitation.
Somebody is forgetting to consult, and consult widely.
populism has its limits.

Emma Powerful does not want to engage in a game of political destruction.
His publications are exactly what those behind the release of Nnamdi Kanu had hoped
That the Igbo given a year or two,
will play out this political fire all by themselves,
without any help or damage from the Nigerian structure
and Nigeria will be back to business as usual.
The Nigerian Government it seems, may have demonstrated wisdom.
Nnamdi Kanu, owes it to his constituency to use the vaunted Igbo intellect.
Ana eji oriri ata akara.
Anaghi ata ya otu ihu.

Beginning a fight with famed, consciencious and reputed, established Igbo political class cannot be to his or the IPOB's benefit
Whether he knows it or not, those have a constituency to protect.
At the APGA THINK-TANK, NIGERIA, it is our opinion that he will not win that battle.
There is nothing worse than an in-house fight.
Nnamdi Kanu has to be pragmatic.
He should seek a wide, very wide consultation
The political Igbo are welcoming of his advances.
A populist agitation, must have its pragmatic approaches,
Nnamdi Kanu should use this period to build one,
Not disparage a very potent constituency.

Meanwhile, those who released Nnamdi Kanu are watching and taking notes.
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
At the APGA THINK-TANK, NIGERIA
Patience has always been a virtue
And the benefit will be ours.
